Officially.. Disclosure of the Punishments for the Real Madrid Trio
The trio, Jude Bellingham, Antonio Rudiger, and Lucas Vazquez, were sent off in the final moments of the second extra time for protesting against the referee and attempting to assault him.
The Spanish newspaper “Marca” reported that Antonio Rudiger has been suspended for 6 matches, meaning he will miss the remaining matches of this season in La Liga and the first round of next season.
The newspaper added that Lucas Vazquez has been suspended for 2 matches, and the penalty will be enforced in next season’s Copa del Rey.
It was also reported that the red card received by Bellingham has been overturned, as it was determined after reviewing video footage that he did nothing deserving of a red card.
