Many reports have claimed in recent hours that Ancelotti’s departure to coach the Brazilian national team has indeed collapsed.
Reports revealed that the reason behind the collapse of Ancelotti’s departure from Real Madrid is the coach’s demands for his financial entitlements (10 million euros as his salary for the next season), in addition to Real Madrid’s unwillingness to let him leave before the Club World Cup.
For its part, the newspaper “Marca” reported: “Sources close to Carlo Ancelotti say that Real Madrid has not placed any obstacles in his negotiations with Brazil, and Ancelotti has not requested any compensation from Real Madrid.”
On his part, journalist Ramon Alvarez stated that negotiations between Brazil and Ancelotti are still ongoing, and a meeting is scheduled for today, Wednesday, to resolve all disputes.
