Nawaf Bushal, the Saudi Al-Nassr player, commented on the defeat his team suffered against the Japanese Kawasaki today, Wednesday.
Al-Nassr lost to Kawasaki with a score of 3-2 in the semi-final match of the AFC Champions League, leading to Al-Nassr’s exit from the tournament and Kawasaki’s qualification to face Al-Ahli Saudi in the final.
Nawaf Bushal said in television statements after the match: “Thank God for everything, this was not the result we wanted.”
He added: “We missed a lot of chances, and whoever misses must receive, this is known in football, and we did not waste one or two chances, but we wasted many chances indeed.”
He concluded: “Every match has its own thinking and circumstances; in the last encounter, we scored early, and in this match, we had more chances, but we did not capitalize on them.”
