Both Al-Ahli and Kawasaki are striving to win the Asian title by triumphing in the final match hosted at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
The final match is expected to be very competitive between the two teams, after they both advanced to this stage at the expense of Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr in the semi-finals.
It is noteworthy that Al-Ahli Jeddah was disappointed in the 2012 final when they lost to Ulsan Hyundai on their home ground in South Korea with a score of three goals to none.
The Al-Ahli club is looking to clinch their first Asian title in history against Kawasaki in this second final.
On the other hand, Kawasaki managed to qualify for the AFC Champions League final for the first time after overcoming Al-Nasr with a victory of three goals to two on Wednesday.
