A Turkish media report stated that Real Madrid paid a sum of money to the Turkish club Fenerbahçe as part of the transfer deal for Arda Güler to the royal club.
Güler joined Real Madrid in 2023 for 24 million euros, coming from Fenerbahçe.
According to Turkish press reports, Real Madrid paid an amount of 4 million euros to Fenerbahçe after Güler played 50 matches wearing the Real Madrid jersey.
The source added that Real Madrid paid this amount as part of the agreement between the royal club and Fenerbahçe, and there is also a clause that obliges Real Madrid to play a friendly match against the Turkish team.
It is noted that Güler scored 10 goals and provided 8 assists in the 50 matches he played with Real Madrid in all competitions.
