Riyad Mahrez, the star of Al-Ahli Saudi, confirmed that his team’s goal is to win the AFC Champions League title for elites.
Tomorrow, Saturday, Al-Ahli will face Kawasaki Frontale from Japan in the final match of the tournament.
Mahrez said at the press conference today: “Our dream is to achieve the title, and we have a clear goal, which is to win only.”
He continued: “Our fans will be the biggest motivation for us to achieve victory; we want to win this version of the tournament, and we will take our opponent seriously.”
He concluded: “I am lucky to play for a team that only accepts victory and winning titles.”
Al-Ahli reached the final after defeating Al-Hilal with a score of 3-1 in the semi-finals, while Kawasaki reached the final match after winning against Al-Nassr with a score of 3-2 in the other semi-final.
