Al-Nasr Threatened with Absence from Asia Due to Al-Ahli Jeddah

The Saudi club Al-Nasr is threatened with not being present in the AFC Champions League for the upcoming season if Al-Ahli wins the title of the current edition of the tournament, a scenario that has become possible as the conclusion approaches.

The only remaining opportunity for Al-Nasr to secure its participation in the next edition of the tournament is to finish the Roshan Saudi League in second place, which requires them not to stumble in the decisive rounds.

Al-Nasr was eliminated from the Asian tournament at the hands of Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale, after an exciting match that saw the guests prevail with three goals to two in the heart of the Jewel Stadium in Jeddah.

Kawasaki Frontale enters the Asian final with great confidence, having proven its strength and seriousness after eliminating Al-Nasr from the semifinals, an achievement that enhances its position among the giants of the Asian continent.

With their recent victory, Kawasaki Frontale qualified for the AFC Champions League final for the fourth time, joining the elite list that includes only 24 clubs that have reached the final in the new format of the tournament.
