Journalist Mike Verweij stated that English club Chelsea has started steps to sign Dutch player Jorell Hato from Ajax Amsterdam.
According to Verweij, the London club is currently negotiating to finalize this deal, for around £30 million.
This move comes as Chelsea aims to renew its defense line, with several names expected to be signed and others to depart this summer.
It is worth noting that Hato plays as a center-back and is also proficient in the left-back position.
