Reports confirmed that the management of the Egyptian club Zamalek has succeeded in securing the signature of Moroccan striker Karim Al-Barkawi from the Saudi club Al-Raed, to join at the beginning of the next season on a free transfer.
It is noteworthy that Al-Barkawi was close to transferring to Zamalek last summer, but a call from the Al-Raed management changed the player’s direction, leading him to return and sign with them for one year.
The same sources confirmed that Zamalek’s management successfully reached an agreement with their counterparts at Al-Raed to sell the remaining duration of the contract of Algerian player Yousri Buzaq.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Raed signed Buzaq during the last winter transfer window for a year and a half, and despite being a regular starter, he did not impress many fans of the red club.
