Marc Bernal Approaches Return to Barcelona Participation

Bernal sustained a severe injury in the last minute of the match, where an unexpected collision with Isi Palazón caused a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and damage to the meniscus.
Following a successful surgery in September, the player began a 12-month recovery process.
In the eighth month of his recovery, Bernal started to gradually return to team training, participating in running drills, pace changes, and ball exercises. Despite his noticeable progress, the coaching staff led by Hans Flick decided not to rush his return to matches, as his recovery will continue into the pre-season of the upcoming year.
Although Bernal will not participate in the remaining matches of the current season, there is optimism about regaining his place in the team lineup during the preparation for the next season, as he will continue to work on enhancing his fitness during the summer break.
