Al Hilal Striker on the Brink of a Surprise Departure Before the Club World Cup

According to the report, Al Hilal’s management does not oppose the idea of parting with the Serbian star if they receive an offer that matches his value, amid strong speculation that the next destination could be the ambitious Neom Club, which is seeking to strengthen its squad ahead of the new season.
The newspaper confirmed that the new club wishes to finalize the deal within the next few weeks to ensure the player’s participation in the preparations for the 2025-2026 football season, which increases the likelihood of expediting negotiations.
At the same time, Al Hilal has begun taking actual steps to search for a replacement striker, with Nigerian Victor Osimhen, the Galatasaray striker on loan from Napoli, being one of the prominent candidates to lead the team’s front line.
Mitrović joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Fulham in England and has achieved four domestic titles with ‘The Leader’, contributing to the team’s treble last season, along with the Super Cup title at the beginning of the current season.
Despite a strong start, the team’s performance has declined this season, having exited the Champions League and the King’s Cup, and currently trailing the top spot by 6 points, while Mitrović has participated in 74 matches, scoring 63 goals and providing 14 assists, with a market value estimated at 25 million euros.
