Al-Shalhoub Finalizes His Choices Before the Anticipated Match Against Al-Raed

Saudi Al-Hilal players are eagerly awaiting what the interim coach Mohammed Al-Shalhoub will reveal during the technical meeting scheduled for today, to outline the main lineup that will face Al-Raed in the decisive match on Wednesday evening, as part of the thirtieth round of the Roshan Saudi League.

Sources from the ‘Al-Riyadiyah’ newspaper confirmed that Al-Shalhoub will rely on explaining his tactical plan for the match during the meeting, and he will clarify his choices of local and foreign players who will participate in the match, along with specifying the tactical style expected to be implemented on the field.

The Al-Hilal team will depart to Al-Qassim later this evening, as part of the official preparations for the match against Al-Raed, which some see as crucial in the points battle with Al-Ittihad, who currently leads the league standings.

These preparations come just a few days after the Al-Hilal management’s decision to dismiss Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus from his position, assigning former team star Mohammed Al-Shalhoub to take over the role temporarily until a new foreign coach is contracted.

Al-Hilal occupies the second place in the Saudi league standings with 62 points, while Al-Ittihad sits at the top with a 6-point lead, making the match against Al-Raed a decisive step for Al-Hilal in maintaining their chances in the title race.
