Urgent Request from Al-Ittihad for Its Match Against Damak

The newspaper “Asharq Al-Awsat” reported that Al-Ittihad is continuously coordinating to reopen Al-Jawhara Stadium, currently known as “Al-Inma,” due to the possibility that the match could be crucial for the league title this season.
Al-Ittihad prefers to play the match at Al-Jawhara Stadium for fan and marketing reasons, as it features a large capacity, in addition to the fact that the club’s season tickets have been sold for this stadium since the start of the season.
Although the stadium has been temporarily closed due to the deterioration of its ground, the relevant authorities have started maintenance work in preparation for hosting the final round matches and the final of the King’s Cup.
Al-Ittihad sits at the top of the league standings with 68 points, 8 points ahead of Al-Nassr, who is in third place, and hopes that the confrontation against Damak will serve as an official crowning of the title, in its preferred stadium and among its fans.
