Fratessi: We Achieved the Impossible, and I Screamed So Much That Everything Turned Black

Inter striker Davide Fratessi appeared in press statements after qualifying for the UEFA Champions League final, winning 4-3 against Barcelona in the second leg of the semi-final, noting that the first leg ended 3-3.

The player said in his remarks: “I don’t know why I felt dizzy at the end of the match, I was lucky to have finished the game, I screamed so much that everything turned black, I must thank the physiotherapist because I didn’t feel well in the past few days. I dedicate the win to him.”

He added: “It’s amazing to be in the Champions League final, I don’t know what to say, after Monaco, I didn’t think I would feel the same emotions again. The impossible happened tonight.”

He continued: “This is part of my professional career: I don’t have extraordinary talent, but I’ve always been the last to give up and the first to believe in it.”

He concluded: “After the 3-3 draw, I said we would qualify, I came on as a substitute at the end of the match, but it felt like I played 120 minutes.”
