Our Victory Over Al-Hilal is Fully Deserved

Matias Yaesleh, the coach of Al-Ahli Saudi, confirmed that his team deserved the victory over Al-Hilal in today’s match.

Al-Ahli won against Al-Hilal with a score of 3-1 in the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League.

Yaesleh said in the press conference after the match: “We fully deserve the victory. We knew it would be a really tough battle, and now we are focusing on the final.”

He added: “At the beginning of the match, we were in good shape, the players were fully focused, and we knew the role we had to play. We have enough time in the coming days to prepare for the final and most important step.”

Regarding his tactical superiority over Al-Hilal’s coach, Yaesleh clarified: “I must show respect to Jesus, the weaknesses that appear in such matches determine the outcome, and the small details make the difference. My team’s performance was amazing today, and we played excellently, which led to the victory.”

On his preference to face Al-Nassr or Kawasaki in the final, Yaesleh pointed out: “That is not important, what matters is that we have 24 hours to recover. When you play in the semi-finals and finals, you must focus regardless of the opponent and the pressures.”
