The veteran German star Thomas Müller is expected to remain at Bayern Munich for a short period despite prior announcements of his departure.
The German newspaper “Bild” reported that the Bavarian club decided to rely on Müller for his participation in the Club World Cup.
Accordingly, the player’s contract will be renewed on a short-term basis until the conclusion of the tournament scheduled for next summer in the United States.
Bayern wants to leverage Müller’s vast experience in this participation to ensure depth in the squad.
