Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former star of Zamalek, confirmed that the mentality of Al-Nassr fans is quite similar to that of Egyptian Zamalek fans, in terms of rejecting criticism of big stars.
Al-Nassr lost to Kawasaki yesterday, Wednesday, with a score of 3-2 in the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League, causing the global team to exit the tournament.
Mido added in television statements: “When one of the stars of Al-Hilal is criticized in the media, there is no violent reaction from their fans, unlike Al-Nassr who refuse to criticize their stars even if they deserve it.”
He further stated: “If this mentality does not change, Al-Nassr will not win titles in the upcoming season either.”
