The “fichajes” network confirmed that Emrick Laporte, the defender of Al-Nassr, is close to transferring to French club Marseille during the upcoming summer transfer window.
The future of the Spanish player has become distant from the Saudi league, following Al-Nassr’s exit from the semi-finals of the AFC Champions League against Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale and their detachment from the league title race.
Laporte joined Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023, coming from English club Manchester City.
The player has participated in 30 matches with Al-Nassr in all competitions this season, scoring five goals and providing no assists.
