Al-Hilal Club has decided to dismiss Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus from leading the blue team after failing to qualify for the final of the Asian Champions League for elites.
Al-Hilal exited the elite Asian Champions League after losing to Al-Ahli Jeddah with a score of 1-3 in the semi-final round last Tuesday.
For their part, Al-Hilal officials have decided to dismiss Jesus from his position following a meeting held within the club to determine the coach’s fate in light of the team’s declining results domestically and their exit from the elite Asian Champions League.
Al-Hilal officials are negotiating with Jesus to reach a settlement regarding the two months remaining on his contract with the club.
Saudi press reports revealed that Al-Hilal will announce Jesus’s departure from coaching the team as soon as a final agreement on the settlement is reached.
