Manchester City achieved a valuable victory against their counterpart Wolverhampton 1-0 in the 35th round of the English Premier League, at the Etihad Stadium.
Manchester City raised their tally to 64 points in third place temporarily, while Wolverhampton’s score remained at 41 points in thirteenth place.
The only goal of the match came from Kevin De Bruyne in the 35th minute, after a cross from Doku which De Bruyne converted with a shot from inside the penalty area into the net.
Manchester City is very close to securing a spot in the Champions League for the next season.
Many clubs are competing for the top five positions qualifying for the Champions League next season, noting that Liverpool won the title, and Arsenal has largely secured the second place.
