Real Madrid Reaches Agreement with Ancelotti Regarding His Departure

The newspaper clarified that Ancelotti will move to coach Brazil with a preliminary contract for one year, extending until the end of the 2026 World Cup, after negotiations that lasted for weeks with the Real Madrid management regarding the settlement of his remaining financial dues in his contract that extends until 2026.
The club is expected to officially announce Ancelotti’s departure before the end of the season, possibly after the upcoming Clasico match against Barcelona, and Real Madrid is currently looking for a replacement, with Xabi Alonso, the Bayer Leverkusen coach, being the preferred option while Solari’s name is mentioned as an internal option.
It is worth noting that Ancelotti returned to coach Real Madrid in 2021, achieving many titles with them, most notably the UEFA Champions League, becoming the most decorated coach in the club’s history with 15 titles.
Ancelotti is expected to sign his contract with the Brazilian federation soon, to lead the Brazilian national team in the World Cup qualifiers in June against Ecuador and Paraguay.
