Barcelona Talent Faces Long Absence from the Field

Dani Rodriguez, the young winger of FC Barcelona, is facing the risk of being absent from the field for a period ranging from two to three months after suffering a serious shoulder injury during his first appearance with the first team against Real Valladolid in the last round of La Liga.

According to what was revealed by the newspaper ‘Mundo Deportivo’, the 19-year-old player is suffering from a severe dislocation of his right shoulder, and it is likely that he will undergo surgery after undergoing precise examinations to assess his condition with the technical staff.

Rodriguez’s injury will prevent him from completing the current season, and it also threatens his participation in the summer preparation period for the next season, which constitutes another setback for a player who has suffered a series of injuries with the reserve team this season, yet managed to score 3 goals and provide 3 assists in just 10 matches.

German coach Hans Flick, the head coach of the Catalan club, includes Rodriguez in his future plans despite his limited appearances.
