We Will Fight to Qualify for the Final and Need Our Fans’ Support Against Arsenal

Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi spoke during the press conference for the Paris Saint-Germain match against Arsenal in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, confirming the team’s readiness and strong desire to qualify for the final, amid a positive atmosphere prevailing within the Parisian camp.

Hakimi said: “The team is confident and excited, and our goal is clear: to qualify for the final. We know the match will be difficult, but we are ready to take on the challenge.”

The Moroccan international emphasized the importance of fan presence in the match against Arsenal, stating: “We need our fans’ support more than ever, and Arsenal must feel like they are playing in a very tough stadium.”

Hakimi discussed the mental difference compared to last season, pointing out that accumulated experiences have helped strengthen the team’s character, saying: “Reaching the semi-finals last year gave us calmness and experience that will benefit us in tomorrow’s match.”

Regarding tactical aspects, Hakimi highlighted the importance of stopping Arsenal’s key players, especially in set pieces, saying: “We have defended well this season against strong teams in set pieces, and we must not give Arsenal the chance to exploit this point.”

The Moroccan fullback praised his teammate Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé, saying: “He is a genius with the ball, a different player who makes you want to watch him every day, and he has recovered well from his injury.”
