Inter Ends Barcelona’s Dream and Advances to Champions League Final

Inter achieved a historic victory over their guest Barcelona with a score of (4-3) in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, held at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, noting that the first leg ended in a 3-3 draw.

Inter will face the winner of the match between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal in the final.

Inter took the lead through Lautaro Martinez after a pass from Dumfries in the 21st minute, then Hakan Çalhanoğlu scored a second goal from a penalty in the 45th minute awarded by the referee against Koubarsi.

In the 54th minute, Barcelona reduced the deficit with a goal from Eric Garcia with a shot from inside the penalty area, then Dani Olmo added a second goal with a header after a cross from Martin in the 60th minute.

Barcelona scored a third goal through Raphinha in the 88th minute after a ball reached him inside the penalty area, which he shot powerfully, but the goalkeeper deflected it, and he followed up with a shot into the net, before Francesco Acerbi scored a third goal for Inter in the 90+3 minute.

The teams headed to extra time, where Davide Frattesi scored a fourth goal for Inter in the 99th minute, and Barcelona threatened Inter’s goal on several occasions, but goalkeeper Sommer was on guard for all of Barca’s attempts.
