Al-Ahli Crowned Asian Champions League Title for the First Time in History

The Saudi Al-Ahli club succeeded in clinching the Asian Champions League title for the first time in its history after defeating Japan’s Kawasaki Frontale 2-0 in the final match held today, Saturday.

Wenderlison Galeno scored Al-Ahli’s first goal in the 35th minute of the match, followed by Frank Kessie adding the second goal for the team in the 42nd minute.

Al-Ahli reached the final after defeating Al-Hilal 3-1 in the semifinals.

Kawasaki Frontale qualified for the final after overcoming Al-Nassr with a score of 3-2 in the other semifinal.
