Kompany talks about the thrilling draw against Leipzig
Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany appeared in a press statement after the 3-3 draw against Leipzig in the 32nd round of the German Bundesliga, at the Red Bull Arena.
The coach said: “The first half was not ideal, but we cannot expect perfection with so many players missing, we are not naive.”
He added: “The energy and talent of our players help us. The second half was almost perfect, and we witnessed one of our best moments this season.”
He concluded: “Of course, we did not wish for the equalizer in the last minute. Sometimes it is better to face setbacks so we can respond. Our reaction after the first half was good, and we were not afraid. This gives me hope for the future.”
