Officially: Leeds United crowned Championship champions and promoted to the Premier League

Leeds succeeded in returning to the Premier League after being crowned Championship champions, following a dramatic victory over Plymouth with a score of 2-1, thanks to a last-minute goal scored by Manor Solomon in stoppage time, on Saturday evening.

With this, Leeds raised its points tally to 100, equal with Burnley, who won against Millwall with a score of 3-1, but the goal difference gave Leeds the lead and the title.

Both teams had secured direct promotion to the Premier League since the previous round, before the championship title was decided in the final round.

Meanwhile, Sheffield United, Sunderland, Coventry City, and Bristol City qualified for the playoff competition for promotion to the Premier League, where they will compete for the third promotion spot.
