Media figure Ahmed Shoubir revealed the latest developments in Zamalek’s negotiations with Karim Al-Barkawi, the star of Al-Raed Saudi.
The player’s contract with Al-Raed ends at the end of this season.
Ahmed Shoubir stated in radio remarks: “On the occasion of discussing Zamalek’s negotiations with the Moroccan Karim Al-Barkawi, the player Karim Al-Barkawi’s contract ends at the end of the current season with Al-Raed Saudi.”
He added: “Al-Barkawi has no problem at all signing for Zamalek according to my information, but he wants to ensure all his financial rights, and that is his right.”
He concluded: “The idea that the player requests this is something natural; everyone wants to ensure their rights, and that doesn’t upset or annoy anyone at all.”
