Referee for the Barcelona vs. Inter Milan Match in the UEFA Champions League Semi-Final Second Leg

UEFA has officially announced the appointment of Polish referee Szymon Marciniak to officiate the second leg match in the UEFA Champions League semi-final between Inter Milan and Barcelona.

The match will take place at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium next Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 10:00 PM Cairo and Mecca time.

Marciniak, who has a strong reputation in officiating, has recently officiated several notable matches, including his recent decision to disallow a goal due to a penalty for Julián Álvarez in the penalty shootout that Atlético Madrid lost to Real Madrid.

Although his appointment came two days before the match, the decision has faced objections from some Barcelona supporters; however, UEFA supports him as one of the most renowned and reliable referees in European football.

It is worth mentioning that the first leg match between Barcelona and Inter Milan at Montjuïc Stadium ended in an exciting draw of 3-3.
